acadex

Your academics, in focus.

Acadex is an independent command center for SRMIST students. It shows how many classes of slack you have in each course, what you need on the next CT, and what's due this week. Every number shows where it came from.

No portal password, no register number. Not affiliated with SRMIST.

Sign in at the source

Use the official SRMIST sign-in pages, then bring the reports you want to track into Acadex. Your portal password stays with SRMIST.

After signing in, use Acadex Scan to import PDFs or screenshots and confirm every change.

Every number has a source

You can always tell a value copied from your report from one you typed in or one Acadex estimated.

The math is on the page

Recovery and slack are plain formulas with their assumptions written out. Nothing is dressed up as AI.

slack   = ⌊(A − T·C) / T⌋
recover = ⌈(T·C − A) / (1 − T)⌉

You confirm before anything is saved

Acadex Scan reads your screenshots and PDFs. You check each row, fix anything uncertain, and approve it.

  • Editable preview of every row
  • Conflicts shown side by side
  • Verified records never silently overwritten

How your data gets in

Acadex has no live connection to Academia or the Student Portal, and it won't ask for your portal login. You bring the documents you already have access to.

  1. Step 1: Open your report on Academia

    Attendance, marks, course or timetable pages. Download the PDF or take a screenshot.

  2. Step 2: Upload it to Acadex Scan

    Text is read from the PDF directly, or with on-server OCR for images. Nothing goes to third-party AI.

  3. Step 3: Review and confirm

    Fix anything uncertain, match courses and faculty, then confirm. Uploaded files are deleted afterwards.
