Accessibility statement
Last updated 3 November 2026
Acadex aims to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and to be usable by keyboard, screen reader, touch and voice control.
What we do
- Semantic structure, labelled controls and a skip-to-content link on every app screen.
- Full keyboard use, including the command palette (Ctrl/⌘ K), with focus always visible.
- Status is never shown by colour alone: every risk badge pairs an icon with words.
- Every chart offers a table view and a text summary.
- Seven themes, including a High contrast theme that meets WCAG AAA text contrast. Contrast for every theme is checked automatically.
- Motion respects your device's “reduce motion” setting, and nothing moves continuously.
- Layouts are built for 360px phones upward, with touch targets sized for fingers.
Known limitations
- Text recognised from photos (OCR) may contain errors. Every extracted value can be reviewed and edited before saving.
- Some dense tables scroll sideways on narrow screens.
